About Zack Pembleton-Whitey

Zack Pemberton-Whiteley is Chief Executive Officer at Leukaemia Care. Leukaemia Care is the UK’s leading leukaemia charity, dedicated ensuring that everyone affected receives the best possible diagnosis, information, advice, treatment, and support.

Zack is a qualified lawyer (BPTC & LLM) whose work primarily focuses on evidence-based advocacy, access and HTA, campaigns, patient involvement, early diagnosis, and cancer policy.

Zack is also Chair of the global Acute Leukemia Advocates Network (ALAN), Co-Chair of the Blood Cancer Alliance (BCA) in the UK, Vice-Chair of the European Hematology Association Patient Advocacy Committee (EHA PAC) and is active in committees and advisory boards at a UK, European and global level including the CML Advocates Network steering committee (CMLAN SC) and Community Advisory Board (CML CAB), the Workgroup of European Cancer patient Advocacy Networks (WECAN), and the European Cancer Organisation Patient Advisory Committee (ECO PAC).
