About Valentin Barsan

Implementing clinical diagnostics and molecular tools to personalize cancer therapy.

I have developed extensive experience in molecular biology techniques of PCR and NGS, including DNA-seq and RNA-seq protocols, TCR sequencing, gene editing (CRISPR/Cas systems), and various target-enrichment approaches (multiplex-PCR, hybrid selection, host depletion, single cell isolation) as well as CAR T cell design, production, and clinical use. I am interested in developing tools and datasets of epitope prediction/validation, HLA gene analysis, MHC characterizing, mathematical modeling of immune-cancer interactions, and network analysis of immune system data to develop novel cancer therapies for patients.
