About Todd Asmuth

Todd Asmuth joined SHINE as its President in September 2015 after spending 5 years as CEO of AquaMost, Inc. He was appointed chief finanical officer in 2018. He has spent 25 years building early stage companies as an operator and investor. Immediately prior to AquaMost, he was the President of Surebond, a specialty chemical manufacturer with a line of environmentally friendly adhesives and sealants. He has a history of successfully taking companies from concept to commercialization to profitability using lean startup, customer-focused product development techniques. In addition, he sits on the board of directors of multiple early stage companies and non-profit organizations. Early in his career, Todd spent 4 years in management consulting with Booz Allen & Hamilton on strategy engagements with Fortune 500 companies. Todd earned an MBA with honors from the Kellogg School of Management at Northwestern University and a B.S. in Mechanical Engineering from Yale University. He is a member of the Society of Petroleum Engineers.
