About Simon Bolton

I’m an experienced Chief Information Officer (CIO) in large global businesses, and have led large diverse teams, delivering multiple highly complex change and transformation programs. I’ve got experience across multiple aspects of IT, including Infrastruture, ERP (SAP) and Manufacturing IT, in both Insourced and Outsourced delivery models.

Having entered the world of work by being sponsored by Hewlett-Packard through college, I’m a passionate believer in the power of practical education, targeted at the skills the employers and employees really need. For this reason I’m proud to be a Director at Tech Partnership Degrees and an Independent Governor at the University of Derby.
