About Sean Fu

A seasoned leader, Sean has over 20 years of industry experiences, successfully brought multiple drugs to the market, led post M&A integration between Merck and Schering-Plough, and managed global R&D and manufacturing teams. Sean served in various leadership positions over his 15-year career with Merck & Co. and then with Luye Pharma, where he was most recently the Group VP, Head of International R&D and CEO of GeneLeap, a Luye subsidiary focusing on nucleic acid therapeutics. Sean holds a PhD from Ohio State University and an MBA from Wharton.
