About Pierluigi Antonelli

Pierluigi moved to the role of CEO in Angelini Pharma, a leading Italian company with multinational footprint after being promoted to Head of Europe in the Oncology Division, Novartis in April 2018.
He joined Sandoz, a Novartis Division, as Head of Western Europe in August 2015 till March 2018.
He has an extensive experience in the pharmaceutical sector and joined Sandoz from Merck & Co., where he was Senior Vice President, Managing Director for Italy and Fertility Lead for Europe & Canada. Prior to this role, he held different executive positions with Bristol-Myers Squibb across different geographies (Italy, US, Portugal, France and Switzerland).
