About Nick Foster

Nick has a strong technical and commercial background, with over 25 years experience working in early drug discovery and safety profiling, and leads our global business development and marketing teams.

Nick studied Applied Biochemistry at Liverpool John Moores University, and began his career as a researcher with the UK Medical Research Council (University of Cambridge and the Laboratory for Molecular Biology) working on protein engineering.

In 2001 he moved to the Biotech/CRO sector to establish ArQule UK (now MSD) and support drug discovery programmes across a broad range of therapeutic classes, specialising in drug metabolism/pharmacokinetics.

Nick moved into business development in 2009, holding positions as Associate Director for BioFocus, Head of Commercial Operations at Optibrium, and most recently as Director with WuXi AppTec.
