About Meir Jakobsohn

Meir founded Medison in 1996 and has been serving as its CEO since the company’s inception, spearheading Medison’s growth to become the largest pharma company in Israel, as well as actively expanding into international markets.

Meir is third generation in the pharma industry, starting in 1937 when the Jakobsohn family represented Ciba-Geigy (formerly Novartis), where he served as COO of M. Jakobsohn Ltd.

Meir holds a BA in Economics and Business Administration from Bar Ilan University and an MBA in Business Administration from Bradford University in the UK.

Meir serves on several boards of directors and leads a variety of multiple philanthropic projects focusing on education and social welfare.
