I am a creative, results-driven executive with a strong record of accomplishment building innovative companies and products targeted at supporting research and education.

My professional experience includes senior leadership positions, board, and advisory board activities at leading companies in the information services sector. I am experienced in acquisitions and integrations, having executed the acquisition and integration of 18 companies. I build and lead high-performing teams to drive business growth while increasing operating margins and managing business expansion to a global scale.

I have founded or co-founded three information services / SaaS companies: including Insight Publications, RefWorks, and LabArchives. Currently, I serve as a Director of Third Iron, a technology company that provides SaaS applications to scientific research organizations. I am the inventor of two patents enabling the search, index, and display of certain information resources.
