Career Highlights:

► Negotiated royalty agreements with major institutions.

► Dramatically expanded research focus to increase partnerships with biotech and academia. Increased funding for phase I, II, and III clinical trials. Funding as much as $80MM annually.

► Instituted first “brand-centric” campaign in LLS history “SOMEDAY IS TODAY.” Increased donations by up to 30% by extending marketing of mission to the general public. Additionally, the campaign rallied the organization internally, prioritized targets, and rationalized fundraising campaigns.

► Architected all legal, financial, and business elements of a merger with a Canadian Leukemia organization. Staffed and grew operation from $2MM in 2006 to $14MM in 2014.

►Created Patient Co-Pay business and developed it from concept to OIG (Office of the Inspector General) approval. AS CHIEF FUNDRAISER, I RAISED $1.3MM IN THE FIRST 6 MONTHS OF 2007 TO $56MM IN 2014 ASSISTING OVER 15,000 PATIENTS ANNUALLY.

► Co-led a complete redesign of LLS’ entire research portfolio from a traditional academic portfolio to a robust platform transforming the organization into a LEADER IN CANCER FOCUSED “VENTURE PHILANTHROPY.” Generated potential of $2B of outside “deal flow” within the first 4 years through biotech partnerships.
