About John Lepore

I joined Moderna in 2020 to establish and lead the global Government Engagement function comprising public policy and government affairs. I joined from Mastercard where I served as General Counsel, Policy and Advocacy responsible for the global Litigation, Public Policy and Regulatory Affairs team.

Immediately prior to this role, I worked at RELX Group (ReedElsevier LexisNexis) as Head of Global Government Affairs. I previously spent 15 years with GlaxoSmithKline (GSK) covering a wide range of commercial and corporate roles in the US, Europe and Asia.

Before joining GSK, I served as legal counsel in the US Congress and practiced law at Akin, Gump in the firm’s Washington and Brussels offices. I have a Master of Public Health (MPH) degree from Johns Hopkins University and a law degree (JD) from Georgetown University.
