About James Neuberger

I am currently a physician at the Liver Unit, Queen Elizabeth Hospital, Birmingham, Until March 2016′ I was Associate Medical Director for Organ Donation and Transplantation at NHS Blood and Transplant and am an Hon Consultant at Queen Elizabeth Hospital Birmingham. I cmaintain my clinical work with two outpatients a week, focussing on liver transplantation, autoimmune and alcohol related liver disease. I continue my clinical research interests.
I was an editor of Transplantation and on the editorial boards of several journals.
