About Gillian Keegan
After taking the decision to pursue a political career, I was elected in 2014 to serve as a Councillor in Local Government and served on the Board of Governors at Western Sussex NHS Trust. I was selected in the 2015 General Election to be the Parliamentary Candidate for St Helens South and Whiston. In June 2017 I was elected to serve as the Member of Parliament for the Chichester constituency. I was re-elected in December 2019.
During my business career I held executive positions in the manufacturing, banking, payment technology and travel technology sectors.
As Executive Vice President and Chief Marketing Officer at Travelport, reporting to the CEO, I had global responsibility for market and channel strategy, pricing, customer research and marketing communications.
As Group Vice President at Amadeus, I led the team with global responsibility for the retention of all existing business, development of new business and relationship management up to CEO level. P&L responsibility of this business sector with revenue of circa €500m. Reporting to EVP Commercial and member of the executive management team.
Previous roles include Commercial Director of a Mastercard subsidiary (Mondex International) focused on the development of e-payments in Mobile, Digital and Internet channels.
Prior to this I held a number of senior global procurement roles.
