About Gareth Guenigault

Lead Scientist heading up the services team at CN Bio, delivering organ-on-a-chip projects using our PhysioMimix platform for a range of Pharma/biotech/academic groups with a focus on liver research and NASH. Mainly testing novel therapeutics in a pre-clinical setting using human relevant models to support in vivo data.

Obtained a PhD at Cardiff University researching pattern recognition receptors in innate immunology before moving to Cambridge University to study Polyomaviruses in the Division of Virology. Worked at hVIVO initially to discover potential pathways and targets against hypercytokinemia in Influenza infections before moving to the data science group to lead and support bioinformaticians and proteomics scientists in the hunt for biomarkers of disease.
