About David (Dave) Ricks

I’m the chairman and CEO of Eli Lilly and Company, after holding management roles in the U.S., Canada and China, as well as running Lilly’s largest business unit. Before I joined Lilly in 1996, I worked as an account rep at IBM.

I’m on the board of Adobe, and I’m chairman of the board of the Pharmaceutical Research and Manufacturers of America (PhRMA). I also serve on the board of the Central Indiana Corporate Partnership. I’m a member of the International Federation of Pharmaceutical Manufacturers & Associations (IFPMA) CEO Steering Committee, The Business Council, Business Roundtable and the National Council for Expanding American Innovation (NCEAI). I serve on the Riley Children’s Foundation’s board of governors.
