About Darren Cattell

Darren is a highly capable and compassionate NHS leader with more than 20 years of experience in the health service. Darren joined Isle of Wight NHS Trust in 2017 and has held Executive-level roles on the Isle of Wight in Estates, Finance, and Information Management and Technology (IM&T) and earlier in his career in a number of other NHS organisations across the country. As Deputy Chief Executive until November 2021, played a leading role in the quality and financial improvement which saw the trust received a Good rating overall from the Care Quality Commission (CQC). As Chief Executive he is committed to improving the experience of staff and the people who use the Trust’s services even further.
