About Andreas Pinter

Andreas Pinter is a Senior Physician in Clinical Research in the Department of Dermatology, Venereology, and Allergology at Goethe University in Frankfurt am Main, Germany, a post he has held since 2013. Dr Pinter studied medicine at the Goethe University; during his studies, he gained additional experience in a number of European countries as well as in South Africa.

Dr Pinter’s clinical and scientific activities focus on the treatment of chronic inflammatory dermatoses, dermato-oncology, and dermatosurgery. His special interest is in the link between laboratory science and clinic. He leads a scientific group for translational research with focus on psoriasis and hidradenitis suppurativa.

Dr Pinter has co-authored articles in peer-reviewed journals including Journal of the American Academy of Dermatology, British Journal of Dermatology, Dermatologic Surgery, and Experimental Dermatology.
