About Anders Cohen

In 2006, Dr. Cohen became the first surgeon in New York City to perform the minimally invasive XLIF (eXtreme Lateral Interbody Fusion) and AxiaLIF procedures. These procedures provide a minimally invasive lateral approach to spinal surgery. Many patients benefit from a shorter hospital stay, less blood loss and a quicker recovery period.
