About Alessandro Chiesi

Alessandro Chiesi was born in Parma on August 7, 1966. He is married and has
five children.
After completing examinations at the faculty of Economics and Commerce at the
University of Parma, he starts working in Chiesi Farmaceutici in 1995.
Dr. Chiesi contributes to the internationalization process of Chiesi Group, first as M&A
responsible, and then as affiliates’ supervisor within the International Division.
In 2002 Dr. Chiesi becomes General Manager of the new-born Chiesi Germany and
in 2010 he takes the lead of the International Division.
From 2015 to 2020 Dr. Chiesi has been Head of Region Europe, which generates
65% of the Company’s turnover.
In 2016 he founds the “Parma, Io Ci Sto!” Association, which counts more than 100
companies which are committed to work with institutions for the social and economic
development of Parma territory.

In 2020 he is appointed Chief Commercial Officer (CCO) of the Chiesi Group.
