About Sajid Javid

Sajid is the proud British-born son of immigrants. After attending local state schools, he went on to read Economics and Politics at Exeter University.

Before being elected to Parliament in 2010, he worked in business and finance in London, New York and Singapore for 18 years. Aged 25, he became a Vice President at Chase Manhattan Bank. He later moved to Deutsche Bank in London to help build its business in emerging market countries. He is also a Senior Fellow at Harvard Kennedy School, a Senior Advisor to JPMorgan and on the Advisory Board of C3.ai, Inc.

Sajid is married to Laura and they are proud parents of four children.
