About Breakthrough Health

Breakthrough is a digital health startup based in Berlin. We’re a diverse team driven by a desire to use technology, data, and design to have a positive impact on the lives of people living with chronic disease. We build privacy-focused applications that empower people living with chronic disease to track their health, discover potential triggers, and meaningfully contribute to research. Our first product, ‘Emilyn’,​ became Google Play’s #1 ranked app for Multiple Sclerosis within 8 months of launching. We’re working with a leading research institution on a clinical study in MS. We also won the award for ‘Outstanding Innovation in Digital Health’ at London’s CogX Awards 2019.
