About Markus Müller

Markus Müller, Ph.D., is co-founder and Managing Director of BioEcho Life Sciences GmbH and is responsible for Research & Development as well as Operations.
Markus has 22 years of experience in various Pharma, Diagnostic and Biotech companies. He started his career at Bayer AG and acquired expert skills in process development for the purification of biomolecules.
Markus then held various leadership positions in R&D at Qiagen GmbH where he lead the business units “GMP Contract Manufacturing & Process Development” and “Sample Preparation Technologies” which developed the commercial sample preparation kits for Qiagen.
Markus also spent two years in Manchester (UK) where he integrated Qiagen’s acquired companion diagnostics development activities of former DXs into corporate headquarters. After leaving Qiagen GmbH, he was assigned as Managing Director of UGA Biopharma (Berlin). In 2016, he was part of the team that founded BioEcho Life Sciences GmbH following a phase of proof-of-concept and technology development in a private setting.
