About Chris Boshoff

Chris Boshoff is Chief Development Officer of Oncology at Pfizer and responsible for overseeing clinical research and product development activities for the company’s cancer medicines. Chris was formerly the Senior Vice President for Immuno-Oncology, Early Development and Translational Oncology at Pfizer where he directed the strategies for early cancer drug development, precision medicine and immuno-oncology, and led development of planning and conducting of global clinical trials. In addition, Chris also holds an adjunct Professor position at Yale School of Medicine.

Before assuming leadership roles in the biopharmaceutical industry, Chris served several years as Director of the University College London (UCL) Cancer Institute.

Chris has published more than 150 original articles on cancer biology, tumor virology, and experimental medicine. He earned his PhD from the Institute of Cancer Research in London, trained as a medical oncologist at the Royal Marsden and Royal Free Hospitals in London.
