About Seth Berkley

Dr Seth Berkley is a medical doctor specializing in infectious disease epidemiology and global health, and CEO of Gavi, the Vaccine Alliance. He was formerly with the U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, and the Rockefeller Foundation before founding the International AIDS Vaccine Initiative. In 2009 he was recognized as one of Time magazine’s “100 Most Influential People in the World.”
